About fanlistings

(definition from thefanlistings.org) - "A fanlisting is simply an online listing of fans of a subject, such as a TV show, actor, or musician, that is created by an individual and open for fans from around the world to join. There are no costs, and the only requirements to join a fanlisting are your name and country..."

In other words, a fanlisting is exactly what its name implies -- a listing of fans. It is not to be considered a "fan club," nor is it a mailing list, nor is it in any way official. You won't be contacted about anything (other than a notification when you're added to the members list), you'll simply have your name, country, and some optional information listed.

About the title "Underrated"

That's probably already obvious, but I'll explain anyway. ;) I feel Color Me Badd have never been given the proper respect for their talent, and are extremely underrated. They are too often just lumped in with other boybands, or considered a "one-hit wonder," just because people don't do their homework on the subject. Color Me Badd had several hits! Pretty much all the songs that they made videos for were very popular, and even more so outside the United States. They had three hits in the U.S. that were in the top five: "I Adore Mi Amor" and "All 4 Love" both held the #1 spot, and "I Wanna Sex You Up" peaked at #2, and stayed there quite a while.

In my opinion, however, their hits and their best work aren't the same songs. That seems to be the case with a lot of artists, actually. Color Me Badd is about overall talent, not chart postitions... most of the songs I love, non-fans haven't even heard, and that's just unfortunate.
