What is a fanlisting?

(definition from thefanlistings.org) A fanlisting is a place for all fans of a particular show, movie, actor/actress, singer, etc. to come together and build the biggest listing of people from all around the world who are fans of that subject.

So, basically, a fanlisting is exactly what its name implies, a list of fans (including their names, countries, and if desired, their email and/or website addresses). This one also asks for your favorite Richard Marx songs (optional) on the join form, just to make it a bit more personalized and interactive.

Why should I join a fanlisting? What's the purpose of a fanlisting? Well, the majority of people who join fanlistings own websites (although it's not a requirement). Those who do own sites place link graphics (also called "codes") on a 'fanlistings' (or links, or 'joined') page. It serves as a "these are the things I enjoy" page. It's fun to see them when you visit someone's website, especially when you find out your interests are similar. The link graphic they post will lead others to the fanlisting it represents, so that they may join, too.

Who is Richard Marx?

He is an American singer/songwriter, who has been providing the world with incredible songs since 1987. He has multiple hits under his belt, the best known of which is probably "Right Here Waiting." I've been a major fan most of my life, and I'm honored to own this fanlisting.

He's also the writer/producer/arranger of the *NSYNC hit "This I Promise You" (which he also recorded himself on the Japanese import of his Days in Avalon album).

Why did you change the name from "Hazardous," to "Now and Forever?"

Basically, I grew tired of it, and figured I'd change it to the name of my favorite song of all time, Richard's "Now and Forever," from the album Paid Vacation.
