In this particular case, it's a list of Robin fans. "Dedication?"The title of this fanlisting kind of has a double meaning. Robin is very dedicated to her sites (design, content, updates...), and the fanlisting itself is a dedication to her. So, there ya go... dedication. about RobinRobin is an uber-talented webmaster/webmistress from Houston, Texas, whom I've had to pleasure of communicating with online for many years now. I first became aware of Robin through her ridiculously fantastic Chris Kirkpatrick domain, kirkpatrick.nu, which I found myself visiting regularly, even before Chris became my "favorite" member of *NSYNC (come to think of it, that probably happened because of Robin). Even more so than the design (which is awesome), I've always been impressed with the sheer amount of content at that place; in fact, I've been there probably hundreds of times, and I doubt I've seen everything. Robin is one of the most dedicated webmasters/mistresses out there. Everything she builds (which is quite a few things now) looks great, is easy to navigate, and makes you want to return.. More than an impressive webmiss, Robin has also been a good friend to me. She's helped me a lot over the years when I get stuck trying to design something. She's come to my defense when some random person wants to flame me. She's replied to journal entries I thought no one would care to read. She's just all-around cool. Robin. She's a tough cookie. I took screenshots from some of her sites and fanlistings to make the buttons in the codes section. The main image of this layout has as its background, a collage of screenshots from various Robin projects. Basically, most of the images here are her work... I just kind of... put it together and played. In other words, if you like the way anything here looks, I'm probably not the one to credit. ;) |
